Her unique effervescence for life and never ending generosity of love and spirit will be forever cherished and carried on in the hearts of all who knew her throughout her entire life.
Born on March 5th, 1935 in Freeport, NY to her much beloved and illustrious parents, Peter & Addie (Bergeron) Pappas and sister, Gloria. After her marriage to Henry Natterer in 1955, Flora spent many joyful years raising her family in the northern Catskill Mountains where she was involved with many local charities and church groups and began a career in publishing.
Later she moved to Louisiana and enjoyed all the culture and time spent with her much loved maternal relatives and extended family in New Orleans.
Her love of art and poetry was expressed in many creative ways throughout her life including her acclaimed international culinary expertise, drawing and decorating.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, 3 Children and 3 Grandsons who will carry on her legacy through the example of the way she lived her life.
The family held a private Catholic service on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester.
