Florence Beaudette Cimon, 92, died October 5, 2023, in her Bedford home, after a short illness.
Born in Manchester, October 16, 1930, she was the daughter of George and Hedwidge (Bedard) Beaudette. She lived in Manchester and then Bedford since 1975.
She was a librarian at St. Anselm College and communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
She retired in 1999 to care full time for her ailing and now predeceased (2003) husband of 53 years, Norman A Cimon, a Korean War veteran.
Flo cherished her summers at The Camp on Suncook Lake in Barnstead. Always poised for conversation about the politics of the day, she had a contagious energy, great smile and engaging laugh. At the young age of 90 she tried tubing for the first time with her sister Alice.
She loved her family dearly and fought to live independently and bravely right up to the moment of her passing. Always considerate of others and with a great sense of humor, she told her son not to hold a catholic mass for her funeral saying “it would be too boring for most of you”.
Preceded in death by her loving grandchildren Hannah (2017) and Chris (2010), Sisters Simone, Theresa, Lucille, Rita and Brothers Lucien and Paul.
Surviving family members include her 3 sons, Michael P. Cimon (Pam) of Center Barnstead, NH, Paul D. Cimon (Suzanne) of Zellwood, FL and Peter N. Cimon (Ivy) of Port Haywood, Virginia; 6 grandchildren, Kara, Eric, Alex, Corey, Katie, Patrick; 3 step grandchildren, Adam, Meagan, Michael, 17 great grandchildren; Seth, Elijah, Ashlynn, Landen, Ryleigh, Levi, Everett, Tucker, Clay, Christopher, Noble, Aislynne, Archer, Ester, Silas, Parker, Marley, Clara; 1 step great grandson Brewer; a sister Alice; 2 brothers Bertrand, George; many nieces, nephews & cousins and her great grand puppy Patrón who accompanied and helped comfort her during her many doctors visits these past several weeks.
