Florence Dubois, 68, of Hooksett, died on August 21, 2003, at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 16, 1934, and was the daughter of William and Sadie (Maher) Birmingham. She had been a Hooksett resident most of her life.
Florence retired in 1983 after working many years at AIG Insurance as a data entry operator.
She was a member of the Quaker Hill Wildlife Association, and the Doris Day Animal League. Her love of animals, especially her cats, was a quality she has passed on to her children. She will always be remembered for her terrific sense of humor and her no nonsense approach to life.
Family members include 3 daughters, Carol Ann Dubois Gilman, of Manchester, Cooky Biron, of Goffstown, Kim Sopel, of Hooksett and Linda Kelly of Manchester; 2 sons, Albert J. Dubois, of Manchester and John Dubois, of Auburn; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ruth Salem, and Veronica Nunes, both of Manchester.
The funeral was Tuesday August 26, 2003 in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
