FLORENCE D. RAMBEAU

Florence D. (Blais) Rambeau, 92, of Bedford died December 6, 2001 at a Bedford nursing home after a long illness.

Born in Manchester on September 21, 1909, she was the daughter of Edgar and Ida (Manseau) Blais. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.

Mrs. Rambeau was a longtime communicant of St. Raphael Church in Manchester. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed music and traveling.

She was predeceased by her husband, Aime L. Rambeau in 1980 and by a daughter, Doris E. Blasik in August of this year.

The family includes three daughters, Lorraine Lesmerises of Concord, Helen Carter of Manchester and Beverly Cournoyer of Hooksett; a son, Richard M. Rambeau of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; a sister, Edna Gagnon of Goffstown; four brothers, Harold Blais of Manchester, Clarence Blais of Goffstown, Gordon Blais of Pembroke and Robert Blais of Bedford; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were December 10, 2001 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated December 11, 2001 in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
