Frances B. Baraniak of Manchester died February 5, 2018, with loving family at her side.
Born in Manchester, NH on September 6, 1926, she was the daughter of Mary H. (Drociak) and George Baraniak, and a lifelong resident of the city.
A graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of 1944, Frances received her bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary College in Hooksett, NH. She worked for many years as secretary and office manager for Davison Construction Company in Manchester.
Frances was a skilled knitter who warmed her family in lovely Irish sweaters, and took pride in her many plants and flowers. Devoted to her faith, she had been a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
Frances was predeceased within the month by her sister Helen P. Baraniak of Manchester.
Family members include her brother, John R. Baraniak of Manchester; her nieces Kristin A. O'Brien, Karen A. DiMartino and Kyle A. Nanna; her nephew John R. Baraniak, Jr.; her cousins Ladd Szarek of Washington and Joseph Drociak of California; and a number of close grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester, NH. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery,Bedford, NH.
