Frances A. Greene

She was born in Manhattan, NY on April 3, 1932 to Thomas and Florence (Bull) McMahon and had resided in Long Island for many years prior to moving to North Carolina for 21 years.

Frances enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She loved children. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time gardening.

Members of her family include her beloved husband of 62 years Edward Greene of Manchester; three daughters, Diane Greene of Hempstead, NY, Glenda McFadden and her husband Jim of Manchester, Barbara Porcelli of Bayport, NY; three sons, Edward Greene of Atlanta, GA, Richard Greene and his wife Kristina of Peachtree City, GA, Thomas Greene and his wife Coley of Wood Ridge, NJ; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters. She was the sixth of eight children.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in St Raphael Church, 103 Walker Street. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
