Francis O. "Frank" Beaudry, 73, of Bedford passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 after a long period of declining health.
Born on August 22, 1944, Frank was the second born child to the late Elphege and Gilberte (Laroche) Beaudry. Frank was a resident of Bedford Hills Center for the past 9 years due to a debilitating disease.
Frank was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School in 1962. He was a member of the US Navy and sailed aboard the USS Davis as a radioman. While on board ship, he served two tours in Vietnam.
He is survived by his mother, Gilberte Beaudry; one son, Benjamin Beaudry and wife Katie; his siblings, Julien Beaudry and wife Kathi of Munhall, PA, Ruth Beaudry of Manchester, Sylvia Spagna and husband George of Ashland, VA, Denise Buxton and husband Peter of Weare, Jean Beaudry and wife Diane of Manchester, Lucy Ann Beaudry of Saco, ME; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Elphege in 2006 and his younger sister, Louise Wheldon, wife of Bill, of Weare in 2011.
The family wishes to extend their special thanks to the staff of Bedford Hills Center and to the staff of VNA Hospice for the loving care given to Frank during his tough time.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. A private committal service in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, will be at a later date.
