Francis R. Bouchard, 70, of Manchester, died May 31, 2002, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Roxbury, Mass, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, August 29, 1931, he was the son of Charles and Evelyn (Houle) Bouchard. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In addition he served in the NH Air National Guard 2 years prior to the war, and 2 years after the war.
Mr. Bouchard owned and operated Typewriter Sales and Service in Manchester from 1960 to 1975.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition he was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5260.
Family members include his wife, Theresa D. (Royer) Bouchard of Manchester; 3 sons, Mark W. Bouchard, Charles R. Bouchard, and Eric M. Bouchard, all of Manchester; 2 daughters, Darlene F. Raymond of Florida, and Kathleen A. Morley of Weare, NH; 13 grandchildren, Shelly, Adam, James, Jeffery, Christopher Morley, Jason, Christopher Bouchard, Jonathan, Veronica, Alexandria, Marc, Jessica, and Sarah,3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday June 3, 2002 in St. Pius X Church.
Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
