Francis P. Remillard, 73, of Meredith, peacefully passed September 9, 2022 at Vitas Hospice Center in Naples, FL surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born in Manchester on August 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Paul F. and Lumina M. (Levasseur) Remillard. He was a 1968 graduate of Memorial High School and attended NH Technical Institute. Frank served in the US Army Reserves for 27 years before being honorably discharged at the rank of E-8 and retired after 36 years as a communication technician with AT&T.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He devoted much of his time to the Boy Scouts and later Optimist Club International. He was a reserved man who was always kind and helpful to all. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Surviving family members include his son Christopher A. Remillard and wife Lisa of Manchester; his granddaughter Miranda L. Remillard of Merrimack; two sisters Elaine M. Tremblay and Diane P. Remillard, both of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Doreen R. Remillard of Manchester; an aunt, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and his devoted partner Beverly Hawkins of Naples, FL. Frank was predeceased by his daughter Maria L. Remillard, his brother Paul R. Remillard, and his brother-in-law Ernest M. Tremblay.
