Francoise A. (Gosselin) (DesRuisseaux) Gagnon 80, of Manchester died December 20, 2022 after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester on December 23, 1941, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Fernande I. (Gregoire) Gosselin. She graduated from Ste. Marie Grammar and High Schools.

In her younger years Fran worked at her father’s store, Gosselin Hardware and then for a time at NH Insurance. While raising her family, Fran worked at Star Market and Allegro’s Supermarket as a customer service manager. Later on, she worked for many years as the receptionist for Bouchard & Mallory Law Firm and then with Nixon, Hall & Hess Law Firm. After retirement, she enjoyed caring for the youngest at Educare Daycare & Learning Center.

Fran enjoyed traveling, knitting, walking, and playing card games with family and friends. Very devoted to her faith and parish community, she volunteered with Ste. Marie Adoration Chapel every week, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Eucharistic Ministry, Mercy Meal Ministry, and the Children’s Ministry. She thoroughly enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and generous mom and grandma.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Roger C. DesRuisseaux in 2000 and her second husband, Robert G. Gagnon in 2021.

Family members include her children, David DesRuisseaux and wife Donna of Goffstown, Theresa Vaillancourt and husband Brian of Goffstown, Steven DesRuisseaux and wife Colleen of Manchester; one step-son Gerald Gagnon and wife LuAnn of Northwood; eight grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan, Eric, Kirsten, Jessica, Lee, Megan, and Jack; four step-grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew, Bethany, and Abigail; her siblings Ronald Gosselin, Georgette Beaudet, Murielle Bennett and husband Vince, Louise Hansen and husband Eric; her sister-in-laws Irene Desruisseaux, Claire Desruisseaux, and Lucille Harper; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday at 10 am in Ste. Marie Church. Encryptment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
