Frederic S. Poore, III, 68, of Concord, went home to be with the Lord November 22, 2015 at the Concord Hospice House after a brief illness.
He was born in Methuen, MA December 3, 1946 the son of Frederic S. Poore, Jr. and Dorothy (Herdegen) Poore. He was a graduate of Alvirne High School and received a bachelor's degree from Plymouth State College. He lived in Manchester for many years and also lived in Bonita Springs, FL for a time before moving to Concord 11 years ago.
Fred had worked for Beneficial Financial, H.F.C. for 25 years. He later worked as a coach operator for Concord Trailways and Boston Express.
He loved boating and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was predeceased by a son, Frederic S. Poore, IV in 1987.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Elaine S. (Therrien) Poore of Concord; a son, Nathan R. Poore and his wife, Allison, of Highate Ctr., VT; three grandchildren, Elijah Poore, Isaac Poore and MacKenzie Poore; a sister, Judith Hanson and her husband, Donald, of Nashua; nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to noon at Manchester Christian Church, 1308 Wellington Rd., Manchester. Services will follow at noon
Private burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester at the convenience of the family.
