Frederick L. Pratt, 93, of Manchester, died September 27, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Born in Woburn, MA on August 6, 1928, he was the son of Frederick B. and Etta Pratt. He attended Keith Academy in Lowell, MA and earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley College.

Prior to his honorable discharge, he proudly served in the US Navy.

Fred had worked as a self-employed accountant for many years and operated his own finance company. Upon retirement Fred volunteered his time at the UNH Financial Aid office.

He loved spending time outdoors, traveling, camping and skiing. He was an accomplished licensed pilot who also held an airplane mechanic's license. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and was grateful for the experience he and family members recently had with the Honor Flight program.
He represented Keene's Ward 1 in the NH Legislature from 1963-1964.

Family members include his wife, Marcella S. (Wespelt) Pratt of Manchester; his sons, Frederick M. Pratt and wife Cheryl of Salem, NH, David P. Pratt and wife Sherry of Goffstown, Dennis J. Pratt and wife Carol of Foxborough, MA; four grandchildren, Matthew Pratt of Manchester, Ian Pratt of Boulder, CO, Ryan Pratt of Portland, ME and Taylor Pratt of Goffstown.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester, will be Friday from 4 to 6 pm followed by a service in the funeral home chapel. A committal service and burial will be on Saturday morning at 11 am in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover Point Road, Dover.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Patient's Activities Fund at Hanover Hill Nursing, 700 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104.
