Born in Manchester on June 21, 1918, she was the daughter of David and Susan (Dagher) Wihby. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She and her husband, Anthony H. Stephen were restaurateurs in Manchester for many years. Together, they owned and operated The Oriental and later the Cedars of Lebanon. Mr. Stephen died in 2001.
Mrs. Stephen had volunteered at the Currier Museum of Art.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes a son, Anthony C. Stephen of Manchester; a granddaughter, Shaylee Stephen of Manchester and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Committal prayers were held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the Shaw Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford. Fr. Thomas Steinmetz officiated.
