She was born in Manchester July 5, 1951 to Roland D. and Jeannette (Philibert) Vigneault. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She had worked as an operating room technician at Catholic Medical Center. She had previously worked as a nurse's aide at the former Notre Dame Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. She had been a bookkeeper for her husband's driver's ed business and helped manage apartment buildings.
She was a church soloist at the former St. George Church as well as other churches. She was also a Eucharistic Minister.
She enjoyed painting with watercolors and oils.
Family members include her husband, George A. LaPorte of Manchester; her mother, Jeannette Vigneault of Manchester; seven siblings, Robert Vigneault of Deerfield, Claudette Heiring of Manchester, Ronald Vigneault of Amherst, Cecile Beaudoin of Goffstown and Florida, Lucie Johnson of Maryland, Anne McCardell of Weare and Marie St. Germain of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Peter Church, Auburn.
