Gail D. Cote, 78, of Bedford, died January 28, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a period of failing health.
She was born in Hartford, CT June 22, 1939 the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Claffey) Wesner. She was a Bedford resident for many years.
Gail retired from McKerley Nursing Home where she worked as a registered nurse. She also was a sales lady for Avon.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church and a member of the Ladies Guild. She was also active with Girl Scouts.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Roger Cote of Bedford; four children, Scott Cote of Hopkinton, Cheryl Ann Elliott and her husband Steve of Goffstown, Jeff Cote of Nashua, and Christine Ducharme and husband Gary of Bedford, NH; three grandchildren, Bradley, Amanda and Samantha; two siblings, Maureen Shirley and husband Edgar of Weathersfield, CT and Arthur "Butch" Wesner and wife Susan of Newington, CT; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Loren Ducharme.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford, NH.
Committal prayers followed in the chapel of the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
