Gary V. Ladieu

Gary V. LaDieu, 56, of Hooksett, NH died suddenly May 20, 2005 at the Elliot Hospital.

He was born in Plattsburg, NY on November 7, 1948, the son of the late Vernon LaDieu and Veronica (Blais) LaDieu. He was a graduate of Plymouth State College. He had served in the US Army National Guard.

He had been an insurance agent with Bankers Life and Casualty in Concord, NH for the past 16 years. Prior to that, he had worked for Schwan Sales for 5 years.

Mr. LaDieu was an outdoor sports enthusiast who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA and the Kinnicum Gun Club. He loved spending time with his family and was great at playing Pretty Pretty Princess with his daughters.

Members of his family include his wife of 25 years, Theresa (Veer) LaDieu of Hooksett, NH; one son Stephen Gary Carpenter, Buford, GA; two daughters, Ashley LaDieu and Hanna LaDieu, both of Hooksett, NH; his mother, Veronica LaDieu of Keeseville, NY; a brother, Wayne LaDieu of Keeseville, NY;

The funeral service was held Wednesday May 25, 2005 in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an account established for the education of Ashley and Hanna LaDieu.
