Gene "Geno" Mailhot, 80, of Manchester, passed away peacefully at the Elliot Hospital on December 31, 2020 after a brief illness.
He was born in Dixville, Canada on March 4, 1940, to Leo and Louisa (Viens) Mailhot.
Prior to his retirement, he was a contractor and owner of Geno's Drywall Co. He and his wife were also the successful owners of Peanuts Pub, which became known for its "Geno Burger".
He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking long rides in his convertible and refinishing furniture.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Denise (Dionne); sons, Richard and his wife Donna, Gene and his wife Teresa; grandsons, Adam and his wife Nicole, and Jonathan; great-grandsons, Jaxson and Jordan; sisters, Adrienne, Rita and Adela; brothers, Armand, Emile, and Guy; and, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved daughter Annette; brothers, Romeo, Robert, Renald, and Reginald.
Due to the current pandemic, funeral services will be announced at a later date.
