George F. Dippel

George F. Dippel, 75, passed away on December 12, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH after a brief illness. 

A resident of Bedford, NH since 1981, George was born in Akron, OH on June 23, 1947.  He was the son of the late Victoria and George Dippel, Jr. of Canton, OH.  George served in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant during the Vietnam War era and was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton OH, where he was honorably discharged.  George was educated at the University of Akron and obtained a Masters in Electrical Engineering.  At the time of his death, he was employed as a Senior Principal Engineer at BAE Systems in Nashua, NH. 

George loved his family deeply.  He was a very generous, kind and loving individual, had a very strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and was a good friend to all.  He will be remembered as a very devoted and loving Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather "Pappou".  He is survived by his loving devoted wife of 43 years Kathy, his son Nicholas, daughter-in-law Angela and granddaughter Zoe of Greenlawn NY, his son Matthew Dippel of Mountain View CA, his brother Gary L. Dippel of Wayne, WV and numerous cousins and friends. 

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Monday December 19, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH.  The funeral will be Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 11am at St. Xenia's Orthodox Church, 170 N. Lowell Street, Methuen, MA 01844.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Paul & Peter Cemetery, located on St. Xenia’s grounds.
