George E. Lacourse, Sr.

George E. Lacourse, Sr., 70, of Davenport, FL, died February 22, 2017 in Tampa, FL after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Manchester on October 21, 1946 to Joseph and Irene (Vigneault) Lacourse. He lived his life in Manchester, Raleigh, NC and Davenport, FL.
George was a licensed barber for many years and had also owned several businesses including Aqua Dynamics in Manchester. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club and League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.
The family includes his wife of 25 years, Carol (Polichronopoulos) Lacourse of Davenport, FL; three children, George E. Lacourse, Jr. and Marcel Lacourse both of Texas and Lynne Marie Stakelum of Florida; a granddaughter, Crystal Miller and a great grandson, Brynn Eli Reaser both of Florida; six brothers, Dennis Lacourse of Florida, Richard Lacourse of Auburn, Robert Lacourse of Arizona and Joseph Lacourse, Donald Lacourse and Brian Lacourse all of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Cathedral, 439 Pine St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104
