George B. Gilbert

George B. Gilbert, 52, of Hampton, died December 11, 2002, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, December 13, 1949, he was a son of James E. Gilbert, and the late Rita (Carroll) Gilbert Irish. He lived in Hooksett and later in Manchester. He had been a resident of Hampton the last several years. He attended Manchester Central High School.

He worked as a truck driver for various companies.

Family members include his father of Manchester; 2 sisters, Frances G. DesGrosseilliers of Merrimack, and Muriel G. Gable of Manchester; 3 brothers, James C. Gilbert, William L. Gilbert, and John "Jack" Gilbert, all of Manchester; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews; 2 aunts and an uncle.

Services were private and at the convenience of the family, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
