George L. Goulet Jr passed away on February 18, 2025 after a sudden illness.
He is predeceased by his parents George Goulet, Sr and Irene (Archambault) Goulet, and his beloved wife, Julie (Savino) Goulet.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rose Savino of Concord, many cousins, including Doris Labbe and Ray Goulet Jr of Manchester, extended family and friends.
George was a lifelong resident of Manchester and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm College and his master’s degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
He was employed by the State of NH, Health and Human Services as a supervisor in Child Support Enforcement for many years. George was a man of great faith, a devoted husband, a wonderful brother-in-law and a loyal friend. He loved exploring New England with his wife, especially Cape Cod, Boston, and Hampton Beach. He also loved to read and discuss politics. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart. He loved animals, especially all the dogs and cats that he and Julie rescued.
He will be greatly missed, but was so looking forward to being reunited with his wife. He was grateful to the many people who offered support after Julie’s passing. In his words, “Be at peace. Thank you all for loving me.”
SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday (2/26) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (2/27) at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the food pantry at Blessed Sacrament Church, Sisters of the Precious Blood, or your local animal shelter.
