Sister Georgette Beauregard, CSC (Sister Mary Anita of the Immaculate) age 81, died September 29, 2016 at her residence after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, NH on September 30, 1934, the daughter of Omer and Regina (Rouillard) Beauregard. Sister Georgette entered the Congregation of Sisters of Holy Cross in 1955 and made her final profession in 1962. She served the Congregation for 61 years.
Sister Georgette taught in parochial schools under the direction of Sisters of the Holy Cross in Adams and Attleboro, MA, and Grosvenordale, CT. She also taught CCD at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pittsfield, NH. She also worked in internal services in the congregation. Sister Georgette was sacristan and seamstress at St. George Manor from 1993 to 2003.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Pauline Cassidy. She is survived by her sister Cecile Biron of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial, was celebrated on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at St. George Chapel, 357 Island Pond Road, Manchester. Burial took place in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
