Georgette J. Allard, 81, of Auburn, died January 3, 2018, at Catholic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on July 16, 1936, she was the daughter of George and Juliette (Turcotte) Bournival. She was a graduate of St. Marie High School and worked for many years at Gosselin Pharmacy before retiring in 1998.
Georgette enjoyed knitting and ceramics. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was very caring and tireless, but above all, will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Family includes her husband of 59 years, Paul A. Allard of Auburn; five sons, Paul Allard and wife Robin of Manchester, Robert Allard and wife Brenda of Manchester, Richard Allard of Manchester, Roger Allard and wife Susan of Auburn, and Donald Allard and wife Allison of Laconia; fifteen grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Melissa, Lindsey, Alex, Eric, Meagan, Molly, Sarah, Matthew, Jenny, Brian, Stephanie, Morgan, and Mitchell; and one sister, Lucielle Prud'homme and husband Raymond of Manchester.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Parish of Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St., Manchester. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., # 104, Manchester, NH 03101.
