Georgette I. Morency

Georgette I. (Biron) Morency, 89, of Manchester, died February 7, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on April 17, 1924, the daughter of Oscar and Lydia (Pichette) Biron. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Prior to retirement, Georgette worked as a housekeeper at St. Anselm College. She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of St. Anthony Parish.

She was married to Maurice J. Morency, who passed away in 2004. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Doris Tucker, who passed away in 1979.

Family members include a granddaughter, Deana Tucker of Concord; three great grandsons, Mark and Brian Martinez of Texas and Derek Martinez of Concord; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in St. Anthony Church. Urn burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
