Gerald E. Berube, 65, of Hooksett, died July 7, 2004, at Concord Hospice House, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, April 3, 1939, he was a son of Samuel and Lea (Francoeur) Berube. He had been a Hooksett resident the past 39 years.
Mr. Berube in the meat industry for Foster Beef Co., Schondlands, and Jac Pac.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He was a member of the Meat Cutters Union, and the League of 100 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
He loved fishing and baseball.
Family members include his wife of 45 years, Carol A. (Schreiber) Berube of Hooksett; three children, Judith P. Berube of Pembroke, Pamela R. Gilbert of Allenstown, and Marc A. Berube of Hooksett; three grandchildren, Ryan A. Gilbert, Randal R. Gilbert, and Alyssa S. Gilbert, all of Allenstown.a sister, Pauline Marshall of Portsmouth; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday July 12, 2004 at St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
