Gerald E. Bolling, 78, of Manchester, NH, died November 19, 2006, at his residence after a period of declining health.
He was born in Winston-Salem, NC, September 6, 1928, and was the son Willie W. and Martha (Henderson) Bolling. He was raised in Winston-Salem, NC where he graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School. He lived in Lynn, MA for many years and had been a resident of Manchester the past 12 years.
Mr. Bolling served in the US Navy as a metal smith and pipe fitter from 1946 to 1948, and again from 1950 to 1952.
He was a master plumber and owned and operated Jerry's Plumbing & Heating in Lynn, MA for 38 years. During his retirement he worked at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, NH, and Mount Carmel Nursing Home, in Manchester, NH.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Dolores (Palmieri) Bolling of Manchester; two children, Bernadette "Brenda" Bolling of Lynn, MA, and Michael J. Bolling and his wife Patricia of Manchester, NH; a granddaughter, Linda Bolling of Manchester; and his family dog Cinderella.
Services were private with burial in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., was in charge of arrangements.
