Gerald J. "Gerry" Noel

Goffstown

            Gerald J. “Gerry” Noel Sr., of Goffstown, died peacefully February 21, 2024 surrounded by his family.

            Born in Manchester on January 7, 1942, he was the son of Herve “Chief” Noel and Mary (Poch) Noel.  

            Prior to retirement, he had worked as a cement mason for Union Hall for 42 years.

            Gerry was a longtime member of the Alpine Club and enjoyed playing pool, golfing, fishing, gambling and played hockey in his youth.  Above all else, Gerry cherished time spent with his family and friends.

            He was predeceased by his brother, Herve Noel Jr.

            Family members include his wife, Doris “Dottie” (LaFlamme) Noel of Goffstown; his children, Michele Parenti and husband David of Shrewsbury, MA, Gerald “Gerry” Noel Jr and wife Maura of Colorado Springs, CO, Derek Noel and wife Julie of Casper, WY, and Nicole Richard and partner Jonathan Robillard of Manchester; step-son, Brian Soucy of Manchester; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Benny Noel, Richard Noel, Alan Noel and wife Jackie, Darlene Tellier; nephews, nieces and cousins.

            Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Thursday, February 29th from 4 to 6 pm.   The funeral service will be Friday at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  

            Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
