Gerald R. Pouliot

He was born in Manchester on November 10, 1949 to Wilfrid and Therese (Tetreault) Pouliot. He graduated from St. Marie Grammar School and attended West High School.

Gerald worked at GTE/Osram Sylvania in Manchester for many years. He enjoyed drum and bugle corps competitions and the outdoors including fishing and camping. He was also active with the GTE Sylvania Motorcycle Club.

He was married to Violet (Belkner) Pouliot who died earlier this year.

The family includes two sisters, Diane Wall and her husband, Glen, and Denise Gamache and her husband, Robert, all of Manchester; three brothers, Richard Pouliot and his wife, Anne, of Hampton, David Pouliot and his wife, Diane, of Ackworth, GA and Daniel Pouliot and his wife, Colette, of Manchester; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved dogs, Pepe and Molly.

The family wishes to thank his caretaker, Rachel Lounsbury for the care she provided to Gerald.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
