Gerard J. Morin

Gerard J. Morin, 83, of Manchester, died April 13, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, September 3, 1922, he was the son of Alonzo and Amanda (Doyon) Morin. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mr. Morin served in the US Army during World War II and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was married to Dolores (Gagnon) Morin, who died in 2000.

Family members include a son, Gerard P. Morin of Raymond, NH; a daughter, Priscilla A. Thibeault of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Benoit Morin of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
