Gerard A. Paquette, 89, of the Huntington at Nashua, died on Saturday June 12, 2021 with his wife by his side.

Gerard was born on February 7, 1932 in Hartford, CT, the son of Adelard and Diana (Piquette) Paquette.

He was a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He worked in the field of computer science, especially image processing and medical electronics. He was also a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for many years.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy L. (Risley) Paquette who died in 1997.

He is survived by his second wife, Rachel (Beaulieu) (Lapierre) Paquette; his children, Gerard A. Paquette, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Northfield, Michael R. Paquette and his wife, Meg, of Punta Gorda, FL and Dorothy L. Paquette of Manchester; his step-children, Celeste F. Pappas and her husband, Walter, of Silver Spring, MD, Daniel A. Lapierre of Manchester and Roland B. Lapierre and his wife, Holly, of Amherst; two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (6/24) at 10 a.m. at Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua. Private interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Paquette's name may be made to the Huntington Scholarship Fund, or the Huntington Employee Appreciation Fund, both at 55 Kent Lane, Nashua, NH 03062.
