Gerhard F. Hieronymus

Gerhard F. Hieronymus, 85, of Bedford, NH died September 6, 2004 at his residence after a period of declining health.

He was born outside of Berlin, Germany on August 6, 1919, the son of Wilhelm and Margarete Hieronymus. He had lived in Bedford with his son and family for the past 5 years.

Prior to moving to New Hampshire, Mr. Hieronymus owned and operated European Car Service in Westport, CT. He was pre-deceased by his wife Emma (Harbich) Hieronymus in 1999.

Members of his family include his son and daughter-in-law, Klaus and Anne Hieronymus of Bedford, NH; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Werner and Wolfgang Hieronymus, both of Berlin; 1 sister, Inge Kelm of Berlin; several nephews and nieces.

A funeral service took place on Saturday, September 11, 2004 in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
