Germaine Beaudoin

She was born in Lowell, MA on April 20, 1920 to Thaddee and Marie Laure (Maheu) Beaudoin. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1939, made her first profession in 1942 and her final profession in 1947.

She earned a bachelor's degree from Catholic Teachers' College in Providence, RI and a master's degree from Rivier College in Nashua.

Sr. Germaine taught in elementary and secondary schools in Rhode Island and New Hampshire. She also served as principal at Christ the King in W. Warwick, RI and OLMA in Gorham, NH.

In 1952, she joined the staff at Rivier College as an aide in the Biology Department. She was an active leader for the Marie Rivier Associates at St. Bernard and a member of the religious education staff at St. Margaret Mary, both in Keene, NH. In retirement, she served as Eucharistic Minister at the Laurel House in Hudson, NH.

The family includes a sister, Rosianne Denomne; a brother, Adrien Beaudoin and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence in Manchester. Burial was in Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson, NH
