Germaine C. Cloutier, 89, of Goffstown, died February 16, 2003, at home in her family's loving care following a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, March 13, 1913, she was the daughter of William and Amanda (Talbot) Constant. She attended schools in Manchester.
Mrs. Cloutier worked for a time as a teacher at St. Augustin School. She also clerked at Manchester Dry Goods Store.
She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe as well as enjoying cruises with friends. For 26 years she wintered in Florida where she enjoyed outdoor activities and made new friendships.
She had been a member of St. Edmond's parish throughout her married life.
Family members include her husband of 66 years, Wilfrid J. Cloutier of Goffstown; six children, Constance Mercier and her husband Richard of Manassas, VA, Richard Cloutier and his wife Patricia of Houston, TX, Cecile Gaigals and her husband Vic of N. Reading, MA, Celine Carpenter and her husband John of Winthrop, ME, Claudette Benavitch and her husband Dave of Buena Vista, VA., and Colette Howarth and her friend Tony Abatiello of Warwick, R.I.; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday February 19, 2003 in the Parish of the Transfiguration at St. John the Baptist Church, Kelley St., Manchester. Burial was in St. Augustin Cemetery.
