Sister Germaine Pelletier, (Sr. Annonciade), 78, of the Sister of the Presentation of Mary, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH, died May 30, 2003, at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, NH, June 30, 1924, she was the daughter of Aime and Valeria (Benoit) Pelletier. She entered the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1944, made her first Profession in 1946, and her final Profession in 1951.
She spent her entire religious life in devoted community services. She served in Holyoke, MA; Hudson, Nashua, Concord, Manchester, Berlin, Keene, and New Ipswich, NH; and in Rhode Island at Woonsocket, West Warwick, and Coventry.
Family members include three sisters, Clara Flamand of Allandale, FL, Marie Fournier of Glenwood, FL, and Aline Burke of Westfield, MA; two brothers, Rosaire Pelletier of Pembroke, NH, and Florian Pelletier of Holly Hill, FL; a cousin, Father Georges Charland of E. Brookfield, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday June 2, 2003 in the Ressurection Chapel. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH, was in charge of arrangements.
