Gilbert H. Langelier

April 20, 1915 — August 23, 2005

Gilbert H. Langelier, 90, of Manchester N.H. died August 23, 2005 after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester, April 20, 1915, and was the son of Valmor and Yvonne (Boucher) Langelier .

He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II in North Africa, the Middle East and the European theater.

Mr. Langelier worked at Bi Wise Market for several years before working for Grand Union and General Electric.

He was a former treasurer for Boy Scout Troop #130. He was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping with his family.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Irene A. (Houle) Langelier, of Manchester; a daughter, Yvonne McCallister of Weare N.H.; and a son, Denis Langelier of Manchester N.H.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Langelier.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Marie Church, Thursday August 25, 2005. Burial followed in Mt Calvary Cemetery
