She was born in St. Pascal de Kamouraska, Quebec, December 6, 1907, and was the daughter of Aurelius and Alice (Nicole) LaForest. She lived most of her life in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Louis P. Gagnon, and by two sons, Paul Gagnon and Pierre Gagnon.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Family members include a daughter, Louise Amyot of Greenfield, MA; a son, Charles F. Gagnon of Crescent City, CA; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas LaForest of Canada; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
