Ginger French Ball

Ginger French Ball, 87, of Manchester, formally of Greenwich, CT, died on August 25^th, 2022. Born in Greenwich on August 9th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Milton J. French and Emily (Ferraro) French. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Stamford, CT, and attended University of Nebraska Omaha.

Ginger was the manager of Belanger Pool Center in Londonderry for nearly 20 years, until it’s sale.  She was an outstanding volunteer for the Catholic School system, St. Francis of Assisi in Manchester, Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, and Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua.  The volunteer work and dedication Ginger had was endless.

Ginger became the Girls Basketball Coach and then Athletic Director of PMA, where she worked hard and her dedication to the school was admired by all who knew her. She drove the van to the Rivier Gym daily for practice, and to all the games. She raised money for new uniforms, and so much more. Above all else, she was a loving daughter, mother, wife, and nanny.

She is survived by one son, Thaddeus French Ball; two daughters, Ginger French Ball and Emily French Ball; and six grandchildren, Paige E. Tagg, Clark Ed Tagg, Tyson, Davis, Serena, and Josie Ball.

SERVICES:  There are no visiting hours. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104.  Committal prayers to follow at 12 pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, Boscawen, NH.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
