Gisele L. (Morin) Clement, 96, of Goffstown, died March 2, 2021 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on December 7, 1924 to Ulderic and Elise (Perreault) Morin. She lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Goffstown in 1987.
Gigi, as she was known, was a multi-talented woman whose work life began as a young girl at her father's West Side grocery store, Morin's Market, and included stints in radio, retail, insurance, sports administration, and travel before working at, and eventually retiring from, the trust department of Amoskeag Bank.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish and in her retirement volunteered at the Medvil Cooperative, where she lived in Goffstown.
She enjoyed dancing, singing, ice skating, exercising and spending time with her beloved family and numerous friends who frequently stopped in to visit her.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Harvey C. Clement, in 2013 and nine Morin siblings: Romeo, Simonne, Julien, Rita, Eugene, Lucille, Helene, Maurice, and Georges.
Gisele is survived by her youngest sister, Claire Leclerc of Manchester, four children, Louise Donington and her husband, Keith, of Manchester, Helene Figueroa and her husband, Juan, of Atlanta, GA, Pierre Clement and his wife, Elise, of Vernon, CT and Charles Clement and his wife, Lisa, of Falmouth, ME; nine grandchildren, Helen O' Shea, Mary Elise Robinson, Tom Donington, Luther Clement, Georges Clement, Taina Figueroa, Julien Clement, Andre Clement and Evelyn Clement, as well as five great grandchildren.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (3/6) at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 1 East Union St., Goffstown. There will be a small burial ceremony for immediate family members at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
Memorial donations may be made to Hillsborough County Nursing Home, 400 Mast Rd., Goffstown, NH 03045.
