Gladys Goodman

She was born in Birmingham, England on February 22, 1923, the daughter of George and Gladys (Latam) Wiley and had resided in Derry the last 4 years.

She joined the British Royal Air Force as a WAAF. After her service to Great Britain she and her husband managed a pub in Birmingham. In 1954 they immigrated to the United States. After the death of her husband, she moved to Fredonia, NY. and later lived in Portsmouth, NH.

Mrs. Goodman worked as a Credit manager and later worked as a Pharmacy Technician.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending local theatre and enjoyed going to the horse and dog track with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Goodman.

Members of her family include a daughter, Lynn Delevan of Fredonia, NY; a son, Lee Goodman of Tyngsboro MA; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Irene Wiley of Phoenix, AZ.
