She was born in Manchester on February 21, 1925 to Vasilios and Anna (Kokolis) Theodosopoulos. She was raised and educated in Manchester.
She married James Statires on September 12, 1948 and they shared 63 wonderful years together.
"Yiayia Kiko", as known by her grandchildren, followed their extensive sports and activities from the early years through the college careers. She also enjoyed taking her grandsons golfing on the back nine on Saturday mornings.
An extremely supportive wife, mother and grandmother, Kiko was an amazing cook who welcomed every opportunity to make her family dinner, especially her grandkids favorite meal "spaghetti in the oven". Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, which brought such delight to her life, as she did to theirs.
Kiko spent her life with her husband as business owners in Manchester and Hampton Beach. She volunteered 1,000 hours as a Granite State Ambassador working at the Hampton Chamber of Commerce and Manchester Airport.
In her early years, she was active in her church organizations with the Daughters of Penelope, where she served as president in 1965, and Annagenisis.
The family includes the love of her life, James Statires of Manchester; two sons, Andrew Statires and his wife, Karen, of Manchester, and William Statires and his wife, Linda, of Hooksett; two daughters, Cynthia O'Neil and her husband, Joseph, of Hampton, and Krisy Sims and her husband, Clayton, of Raleigh, NC; 13 grandchildren, Jim, Scott, Andrew, Kristen, Marissa, Stefanie, Kassandra, Sarah, Nick, Bill, Elizabeth, Nick and Jimmy; four sisters and three brothers; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
