She was born in Hooksett, NH on January 13, 1923, the daughter of Leon and Alice (Duhaime) Jacob. She was educated in the local school system.
She had been employed in the cafeteria of Manchester Memorial High School for several years prior to her retirement. She had also worked at several local factories in her earlier years.
Gloria loved making crafts, knitting, and crocheting. She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church and enjoyed the time she spent volunteering for the parish.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Henry Camire and three children, Donald Camire, Daniel Camire, and Diane LaBrie.
Members of her family include her sisters, Eva Janelle of Goffstown, Sr. Dorothy Jacob, p.m., of Manchester, Beatrice Bedard of Goffstown, and Estelle Roy and husband Ray of Hooksett; one brother, Raymond Jacob and his wife Therese Jacob of Bedford; her granddaughter, Shaina Duffy of South Carolina; her former son-in-law Donald LaBrie and his wife Lynn of Connecticut; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2011 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
