Gloria C. (Howard) France, 87, of Goffstown, went to be with her Lord suddenly after a long period of declining health on October 28, 2021 at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Chicago, IL on October 10, 1934 to Walter and Nellie (Howe) Howard. She grew up in Hinsdale, IL and lived most of her life in Aurora, IL before moving to Goffstown 25 years ago. She earned a master's degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.
Gloria worked for the State of Illinois Unemployment Department. She also supported her husband throughout his life as a pastor at the various churches he ministered. She loved studying the Bible, listening to music and scrapbooking.
Gloria gave her life to the Lord Jesus in 1957 at a Billy Graham Crusade and remained true to Him throughout her the ensuing years. She has ". . .finished the race" and "kept the faith." (2 Tim. 4:7)
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert G. France of Goffstown; a daughter, Kathleen Beliveau and her husband, Dean, of Goffstown; a granddaughter, Olivia Beliveau of Goffstown; her spiritual son and daughter, Joe and Sue Fuentes of Aurora, IL, their children, Michael, Katie, and William, and their spouses, as well as their children.
SERVICES: A calling hour is Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately at 11 a.m. by a funeral ceremony, all at New Testament Christian Fellowship, 522 Pine St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
