Gloria M. Sherwin

Gloria M. Sherwin, 91, of Manchester, passed away April 23, 2017 at St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of failing health.
She was born in Quincy, MA January 19, 1926 a daughter of Gerardo and Perrina (Calderara) Gallo. She had been a resident of Quincy before moving to Bedford in 1966.

Gloria worked for years in the cafeteria at the Peter Woodbury School in Bedford.

She was married 35 years to Gordon A. Sherwin, II who died in 1988. In addition she was predeceased by a son in-law, Timothy D. Holt, a sister, Elaine Gallo, and a brother, Al Gallo.

She leaves her two children, Suzanne S. Holt of McKinney, TX and Gordon A. Sherwin, III and his wife, Andrea, of Brentwood, NH; three grandchildren, Daniel Holt, Julia Sherwin and Colby Sherwin; a sister, Edna Ruest of Norwich, CT; nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery, 815 Willard St., Quincy, MA
