Graciela Ortiz

   Graciela (Hurtado) Ortiz, 86, of Boston, MA, died October 23, 2023 in Medford, MA.

   She was born in Cali, Colombia on August 6, 1937 to Felix and Elizabeth (Catano) Hurtado.  She grew up in Colombia and later lived in Andover, MA and Manchester, NH before moving to Boston.

   Graciela had worked in electronics factories and textile mills in Manchester.  She was a wonderful hostess who loved to cook and entertain.  She was fun to be around and well loved by her family and friends.

   She was predeceased by her husband, Alfredo Ortiz in 2021.

   Graciela is survived by two brothers, Octavio Hurtado and his wife, Jeanne, of Charlestown, MA and Alberto Jaramillo and his wife, Jacqueline, of Concord, NH; a nephew, John Hurtado and his wife, Kelli Collomb and many cousins.

   SERVICES:  A calling hour is Thursday (11/2) from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately after at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel, 145 Lowell St., Manchester.  Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
