Graciosa A. "Grace" Chaput, 80, of Manchester, died November 8, 2004, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, August 19, 1924, she was the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Niquette) Chouinard. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She was a communicant of Sacred Church. She was also a member and treasurer of the Sodality of St. Anne of that parish. She was a former member of the Pinardville Lionnesses, and a charter member and past president of the Hillsborough County Home Guild. She was also a former member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary.
She loved yellow flowers, and family get togethers on the 4th of July. She was a very social and optimistic person.
Family members include her husband, Sylvio "Chap" Chaput of Manchester; three children, Madeleine Lessard of Manchester, Annette Provencher of Merrimack, and Gerard Chaput of Bedford; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday November 12, 2004 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
