Griffin Bernard Taylor, 4 year old son of Chelsea M. (Kerrigan) and Bernard C. Taylor II, passed away on October 6, 2018 at his home in Manchester after a yearlong fight with cancer.

Griffin had attended pre-school in Rochester at Reach Pre-School and in Manchester at Parker-Varney School. He was a thoughtful child who loved the color blue. He also liked riding his bike, knock-knock jokes, visits to the lake and watching his favorite TV show "Odd Squad".

Besides his parents, the family includes a sister, Bailey Taylor; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Marea Kerrigan of Manchester; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Bergeron and husband, Armand, of Litchfield; his paternal grandfather, Bernard C. Taylor Sr. and wife, Kathy M. Brown, of Barrington; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Mary Cemetery, 71 Lowell St., Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Griffin's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02884. Please specify in memo box for your donation to go toward Rhabdomyosarcoma Research.
