Gwendolyn M. Lavertue

Gwendolyn M. (Boulanger) Lavertue, 87, formerly of Manchester died July 17, 2004 at the Denton Rehabilitation Home in Denton, Texas.

She was born in Manchester on March 15, 1917, the daughter of Rudolph O. and Nellie (Train) Boulanger. She was educated in the Manchester school system.

While living in Manchester, she had been employed as a stitcher by local shoe factories.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur J. Lavertue in 1995.

Members of her family include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Lamarche of Denton, Texas; Four grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; One sister, Yvonne Prindiville of Bristol, NH; One brother, Leon Boulanger of Manchester; nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Francis Church, Litchfield, on Wednesday July 21, 2004. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
