Hanne L. Kleinschmidt

Hanne Lore (Schroeder) Kleinschmidt passed away at her home in Manchester on Sunday, December 6, 2020, fitting as St. Nicholas Day was one of her favorite Feast Days of the holiday season.
She was born on March 28, 1934 in Neubrandenburg, Germany, the daughter of the late Kurt and Johanne (Vogt) Schroeder.
Hanne immigrated to the United States with her husband and son in 1957. They first lived in Concord, NH, moved to Connecticut, and eventually returned to New Hampshire, moving to Manchester in 1971. She was the bookkeeper of the family's business.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Wilhelm Kleinschmidt and her siblings, Inge Thoms and Kurt Schroeder.
She is survived by her two children, Debra Kleinschmidt of Bedford and Ralf Kleinschmidt and his wife, Linda, of Hooksett; her two grandsons, Henry Kleinschmidt and his wife, Hannah, of Wiscasset, ME and Sam Kleinschmidt and his wife, Tarren Bailey, of Guilford, CT; and her great- grandchildren, Reiley Kleinschmidt and Wade Kleinschmidt of Wiscasset, Maine. She took great pride in her family.
Other family includes her sisters-in-law, Karin Kleinschmidt of Manchester and Karla Kleinschmidt of Connecticut; her brother-in-law, Kurt Kleinschmidt and his wife, Liesel, of Germany; nieces and nephews in both Connecticut and Germany and many friends and extended family.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Private burial will take place in the spring at the family's convenience.
Memorial donations may be made in Hanne's name to the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
