He was born in Manchester March 13, 1927 the son of Harvey J. and Violet R. (Savoie) Clement. He was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.
He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and also graduated from St. Anselm College in 1950 with a BA degree.
Harvey served in the US Navy during World War II and later in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked as a life insurance and estate-planning agent for many years.
He was the founding chairman of the Medvil Cooperative in Goffstown and was also a former chairman of the NH Cancer Society. He also was a co-owner of the original Manchester Monarchs.
Harvey was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Gisele Louise (Morin) Clement of Goffstown; four children, Louise Donington and her husband Keith of Manchester, Helene Figueroa and her husband Juan of Meriden, CT, Pierre Clement and his wife Elise of New York, NY, and Charles Clement and his wife Lisa of Falmouth, ME; nine grandchildren, Helen Donington, Mary Elise Donington, Tom Donington, Luther Clement, Georges Clement, Taina Figueroa, Julien Clement, Andre Clement and Evelyn Clement.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
