Heidi Ann Akerman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heidi Ann Akerman, who passed away on July 29, 2026. Heidi was born on November 15, 1974 in Manchester, NH and was the daughter of Brian and Jane (Barlow) Akerman.

Being a wife and mother was Heidi’s greatest accomplishment and she devoted her life to loving her family, specifically her husband and son. They shared the values of quality time, laughter and playfulness. Heidi had an extensive career as a LNA and poured compassion, kindness and selflessness into her care for those who needed it. She will be missed by this community.

In addition to her parents, Heidi is survived by her beloved husband: Shawn Borthwick; her cherished son: William Borthwick; her sisters: Christina Fogarty and her husband Shawn, Debra Vachon and her husband Jeff; and many nieces and nephews.

Heidi is predeceased by her sister: Jill Akerman. May they be together again.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Heidi was a wonderful person who dedicated her life to caring for others and loved her family deeply. Sadly, she passed away, leaving Shawn and William to face immense grief and financial challenges.
